There is a whole range of items to move, including sacks of potatoes, boxes of frozen and chilled foods, cans and bottles of drinks, cooked and reheated foods such as curry sauce and gravy, packaging, frying oils and fats and tubs of chips. Some of these are more difficult to move than others, you may need to wear gloves if moving frozen or hot items. Wheeled Containers are useful for chips, batter and other dry goods. It is a good idea to move them in smaller quantities if practical
Sacks of potatoes are likely to be the most difficult items to move, as they are relatively heavy and awkward. Where possible, you should slide sacks of potatoes rather than lifting them, but remember not to twist your back as you slide them. It is often also a good idea to get someone else to help you move sacks of potatoes. We use our Wheeled Chip Containers as a convenient way of moving sacks of potatoes as this minimises the lifting of sacks when we prepare Chips.
